I have been participating in the supplemental accompaniment program
provided by the Simply Music Program. I had a very happy experience today. I was looking through a gospel chorus
book in order to find an interesting song to sing while accompanying myself. When I selected the piece I wanted to play,
I looked at the key signature and found myself unintimidated by the key of A-flat. You see I am no longer
afraid of sharps and flats! I can play music in all of the key signatures with confidence. I could not do that
in my previous musical experience. Thanks to my teacher Dodie Brueggeman and thanks to the Simply Music Program."
